Pegasus Pools of Austin is a family-owned and operated pool maintenance, renovation, and repair company serving the greater Austin area. The Maintenance Technician is the boots-on-the-ground heart of the Pegasus operation. Our clients define Pegasus, and we define our success by how well we take care of them. Our best Maintenance
Technician enjoys working outside and out of an office, loves taking care of repeat clients, and truly
cares about their pools, homes, and lives. Our Technicians have consistent training and support, and
work together as a team to handle our clients.

Main Roles:
Pool Maintenance
– Visually check pool equipment and Report
– Test the water for irregularities and balance
– Skim, brush, and vacuum the pool
– Empty baskets and bags
– Install small parts as needed

Customer Service
– Run assigned route, promptly and professionally
– Show up professionally and promptly
– Identify ways to improve the pool experience of your clients
– Own your route with pride

Maintain Equipment
– Ensure your assigned truck stays in good maintenance
– Keep track of the levels of chemicals in your truck
– Ensure your tools stay in good shape
– Request replacement tools and equipment in a timely manner

Follow Company Systems and Protocols:
– Utilize the designated route tracking program
– Identify potential repair needs and refer them to the service department
– Maintain flexibility to cover additional routes for other Technicians as needed
– Participate in and support company training processes

Requirements:
– No prior pool maintenance experience required
– Training program offered for all new Technicians
– Customer service track record
– Able to work outside in all weather conditions year-round
– Ability to lift 100 pounds
– Clean driving record
– Ability to work specific Saturdays on rotation
