Green Algae

Mar 11, 2024 | Blog

Algae growth is a common problem in pools, especially during the warmer months. Green algae can quickly spread and turn your pool water into a murky green mess.

To combat algae, shock your pool with a high dose of chlorine to kill existing algae spores, brush the walls and floor of the pool to loosen algae buildup, and use an algaecide to prevent future growth. It’s also important to maintain proper chlorine levels and circulation to keep algae at bay.
